1 kilo pork kasim (back portion), sliced thinly

½ bottle 8 oz. lemon lime softdrink (like Sprite or 7Up)

4 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons brown sugar

5 cloves garlic, well-pounded

3 tbsp cooking oil


Slice the pork kasim thinly. Separate the parts with ligaments and set aside to be used for other pork dishes. Marinate in soy sauce, sugar, garlic, lemon-lime softdrink. Make sure all sides are marinated evenly. Soak for 8 hours or overnight. Cook tocino in 3 tablespoons cooking oil.
