MECHADONG DILA (OX TONGUE CASSEROLE)

Mechadong Dila Ingredients:
1 1/2 kg (3 lb) ox tongue
3 liters (16 cups) water
1 onion, sliced
2 tbsps olive oil
4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
500g (3 cups) chopped tomatoes with juice
200ml (scant 3/4 cup) canned tomato sauce
125ml (1/2 cup) calamansi juice
