SWEET AND SOUR GALUNGGONG BALLS

Sweet and Sour GG Balls Ingredients:
3/4 kilo galunggong
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
4 tablespoons chopped onions
2 tablespoons grated ginger
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley or spring onions
1 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
salt and pepper
oil for frying

Sauce:
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup catsup
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon flour

Sweet and Sour Galunggong Balls Procedures:
1. Precook the fish in water for 10 minutes over medium heat.
2. cool fish slightly then debone and put in a bowl.
3. Add the garlic, onions, ginger, parsley, flour, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Form mixture into balls
5. Heat oil then fry the fish balls until golden brown. Drain.
6. Prepare sauce: Heat oil theĀ  saute garlic, onions, and carrots. Add catsup, sugar, vinegar, and water. Bring to a boil. Dissolve flour in some water the add to the sauce. Cook until thick. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Put the fish balls on a plate and top with sauce.
