Steamed Maliputo Ingredients:
1 medium-size maliputo fish (a fish native in Taal lake in Batangas)
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. lambanog (coconut wine)
1 thumb-size ginger
Steamed Maliputo Procedures:
1. Gut the maliputo, rinse well and score the fish with diagonal cuts.
2. Season the fish with salt and rub with sesame oil. Set aside.
3. Mix the soy sauce, ginger and lambanog.
4. Line a steamer with banana leaves, place the fish on top of it. Pour the soy sauce mixture over it.
5. Steam until done.
