SORBETES DE PINA INGREDIENTS
8 cups fresh milk
3 cups evaporated milk or thick cream, chilled
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 cups pineapple, crushed
SORBETES DE PINA PROCEDURES
1. Combine the first three ingredients and 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl. Transfer mixture to an icecubed mold and put in the freezeer until frozen.
2. Transfer again to a bowl and beat thoroughly with a mixer.
3. Add crushed pineapples and remaining sugar. Put back in the freezer until consistency becomes creamy.
* If fresh milk is unavailable, use a combination of 4 cups of evaporated milk and 4 cups of water.
** Other summer fruites such as mangoes may be used in place of pineapples.
