PICADILLO






PICADILLO INGREDIENTS
1/4 kilo ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
2 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 tomato, thinly sliced
1 tbsp patis
1 tsp salt
ground pepper
1/2 tsp sugar
5 cups water
1 tbsp oil

PICADILLO PROCEDURES
1. Heat oil in a saucepan. Brown garlic, then add onions and tomatoes. Saute for 3-5 minutes or until tomatoes are cooked.
2. Add ground beef. Saute until brown. Season with patis, pepper, salt, and sugar.
3. Pour in about 5 cups of water and allow to boil. Add diced potatoes. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

This is a good recipe I added red Filipino hot dog and raisins to mine. If u like it soupy stick with the 5 cups of water if u like it more saucy then 3 cups is jus right! Yum yum enjoy

I’ll be trying this for lunch. Seems an easy enough recipe to follow for newbie momcooks like me. I hope the toddlers love it.

I normally add 1 small can of tomato sauce and fill the can with water and add that too. Also, I usually put potatoes, carrots, and peas. Simmer it until sauce is reduced to the desired consistency. Great over hot rice.
