Pata con Pina Ingredients:
2 cups oil
1 whole pata (pork leg)
6 cups pineapple juice
4 tablespoons chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup chopped spring onions
Pata con Pina Procedures:
1. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the whole pata until golden brown. Set aside.
2. In a saucepan, combine the pineapple juice and garlic with some salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then add teh fried pata.
3. Lower the heat and simmer until the pork is very tender.
4. Transfer to a plate and top with chopped spring onions.
