Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup white sugar
3 cups coconut milk
powdered anise

Procedure:
Soak rice in 1 ½ cup water for at least 4 hours. Grind until smooth consistency is achieved. Add in coconut milk and white sugar. Boil until the mixture thickens. Continue cooking in moderate heat for 25 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and place in an oiled bowl or platter Chill. Serve sliced and garnished with toasted yam.
