EGG PIE






EGG PIE INGREDIENTS
4 eggs lightly beaten
2 1/2 cups evaporate milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
grated nutmeg (optional)

EGG PIE PROCEDURES
1. To make custard, add sugar and salt to beaten eggs. Add vanilla and milk.
2. Strain this mixture into the pie shell, then sprinkle with nutmeg.
3. Bake tat 425°F for 25-30 minutes. Another way of testing whether the custard is cooked is by inserting a knife into it. If the knife come out clean, the the pie is ready to serve.
