PAN FRIED LAGUNA CHEESE

Our native white cheese goes breaded and fried in this interesting recipe.

Pan fried Laguna Cheese Ingredients:

2 packages kesong puti
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
Oil for frying

BANANA CUE

INGREDIENTS:

10 pcs saba

1/2 cup brown sugar

cooking oil for frying

BBQ sticks

PROCEDURES:

1.) Peel the banana and roll it in brown sugar. See to it is covered well.

2.) Deep fry in hot oil

3.) When the cooked, take them one by one and let the oil drip.

4.) Skew them on bamboo sticks. (Usually two or three banana in 1 stick)

1 1/2 cans condensed milk
1 1/2 cans evaporated milk

2 tsps. dayap rind
1/2 cup caramelized sugar (3/4 cups sugar boiled in 1/2 cup water)

Bukayo is a very sweet Filipino dessert popular with children. It is made by simmering strips of young, gelatinous coconut (buko) in water and then mixing with white or brown sugar.
