1 kilo cassava, grated
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup gata or coconut milk
2 tsp. margarine
1 cup kakang gata (first pressing of coconut milk)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
banana leaves
In a casserole or pan, boil the kakang gata, sugar and cornstarch. Add the cassava, gata and margarine. Set aside. Meanwhile, put banana leaf  in a baking pan. Take banana leaves and gently put it on top of a flames or burning wood. Hold the whole leaf and pass it on top of the fire to make it soft before placing in pan. Put the cooked cassava and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook thoroughly. Bibingka is best paired with 1 cup of hot chocolate.
