3 cups bamboo shoots, grated and blanched
1 cup tofu, finely chopped
5 cloves garlic, pounded
4 tablespoons calamansi juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
5 tablespoons cooking oil
Saute garlic and onion in oil. Add the tofu. Cook, stirring continuously.
Add soy sauce and bamboo shoots and continue until bamboo shoots are cooked.
Add 1 cup of water and ? cup of soy sauce if bamboo shoots are not yet cooked.
Add calamansi juice and continue cooking until half of water has evaporated.
- Add oil and cook for 6 more minutes. Add salt to taste.
