LUTONG PINOY RECIPE

BOLA-BOLA INGREDIENTS:

650g extra-lean ground pork
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium carrot, grated
1 small sweet potato, grated
1 egg
1/4 cup plain white flour
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar

AMPALAYA SALAD INGREDIENTS:
1 large ampalaya or bitter gourd

For marinade:
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
pinch pepper

Sinukmani ingredients:

5 cups malagkit or sticky rice
3 cups brown sugar
3 coconuts
3-4 pandan leaves
1 tsp. salt

With a fork, mash hardboiled eggs. Add the mayonnaise, pickles, and celery.  Spread the mixture evenly over 2 slices of bread, top with the other and remove the crusts and cut the sandwich as desired.

Bulanglang ingredients:
1 cup malunggay leaves
1 cup squash, sliced in cubes
1 cup upo (gourd), sliced
Salt to taste
1/2     onion, sliced
1 cup water
tomatoes

Garlic Soup Ingredients:
1 clove garlic
1 thinly sliced bread
oil
1/2 cup water
1 pc. egg.

Bacon Ingredients:
1 kg. pork belly
2 tbp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. prague powder
8 drops smoke flavor

Utensils:
measuring spoon
stainless knife
bowl with cover
